The Story:
Purchased the car last August with a blown engine for not a lot of money. Brought it back to Hamilton and while setting up the new business (www.OlberMOTIVE.com) got to work on converting the car to be used as a demonstrator and also as a fun weekend toy. Having owned a Mk1 V6 and also converted many Mr2's and Celicas for other people it was the logical choice for my next car.
Ripped out the old engine, prepped the full bay with new metalwork and paint, modified the shifter and gear linkages, refurbed the engine and within the month had it in and running. Spent another 2 weeks finishing everything off to the standard you see here now.
The car makes some rather nice noises and goes like a scalded dug. I plan on keeping it for a long time but if someone was to make me an offer i couldn't refuse...
